What a wonderful term we have had at Northmead. As usual, the children have made me immensely proud. There have been lots of opportunities for the children’s talents to be highlighted. They have given magnificent performances in our production and achieved well in music and sporting events, but it is the children’s day to day positive attitudes, enthusiasm and engagement in learning which also deserves recognition.
Thank you, parents and guardians, for the support you have provided with home learning this term. I have been particularly impressed by the creativity shown in many of the homework activities undertaken. It is always a joy to see the children proudly marching down the drive with their creations. In this term alone, I have seen knitted planets, edible pyramids and scale models of the local road system. I appreciate the huge amount of time and effort which goes into these pieces of work by both children and parents.
Wishing you and your families a very happy festive break.
